The Hôtel du Marc park was initially an orchard for growing rousselet pears, which were offered to the French kings during their coronation in the Reims cathedral.

Built between 1840 and 1846, the Veuve Clicquot private venue family residence still resonates with the sumptuous receptions that hosted the cream of Reims and Paris high society during the Second Empire. Behind its 19th-century facades, the Hôtel du Marc is home to decorations combining antique furniture and contemporary design. Updated by architect Bruno Moinard, the dining room décor features countless details that express inimitable French taste: black and gilded wainscoting, trumeaux decorated with pastoral scenes, mirror effects, a lacquered mahogany table, and chandeliers with smoked crystal pendants.
