La Grande Épicerie de Paris – Left Bank Behind The Scenes

La Grande Épicerie de Paris will create an unprecedented birthday cake to celebrate the 170th anniversary of Le Bon Marché. For people who are more interested in savory recipes, the chefs will also offer a “vol au vent” recipe.

Housed in elegant surroundings in the heart of Paris, La Grande Épicerie selects and creates exceptional products every day. Strolling along its aisles is a unique experience, a magical moment. The graphic silhouette of the escalators, the space bathed in daylight, the exceptional products and flavors: all the ingredients are gathered to make this gourmet walk an awakening of the senses. La Grande Épicerie is home to Paris’s largest in-house gastronomy laboratory that will exceptionally open its doors to the public during Les Journées Particulières.

Le Bon Marché has two locations, the first one and historical Rue de Sèvres which will open its doors, and another one Rue de Passy, in the emblematic 16th arrondissement of Paris, which opened 5 years ago.
