Kenzo – Headquarters
The House’s headquarters are located in the heart of Paris, just a few steps from the Galerie Vivenne, which housed Kenzo’s very first Parisian boutique in 1970. The 17th century mansion has had a rich history, passing through the hands of the Marquis de Mallebois, Master of Requests and nephew of Colbert, and the Marquis de Fontenay-Trésigny, Minister of War under Louis XV. Today, most of Kenzo’s departments are located at this address: the studio, the workshop, support functions, and product development. Shaped by the passing of time, 18 rue Vivienne strongly embodies the spirit of the House. A little nod to history: the 17th century mansion used to be the home of a company trading silk and wool fabrics.
